REflecti0n~~

Hi there! I want to share with you out there about my experiences during this Technology and Innovation in T&L Chemistry class. Our lecturer’s name is Hajah Asmayati binti Yahaya. She is very sporting and always helps us in improving our teaching skills especially with the using of ICT. From this class, I know many new things such as use simulation in my teaching and learning process, how to teach and explain the Chemistry concept by using the CamStudio software so that my students can access by themselves and also how to do and use spreadsheet in some of the chemistry related topics. All these things give new information to me and I really enjoyed doing these assignments even though some of the assignments are quite challenging to me.
I would like to thank Hajah Asmayati for helping and guiding me in finishing my assignments. Also a big thanks and hugs to my friends Zaleha, Shida, Mazlin and Fairus for helping and cheering my day during the class. I hope all of us will get a best result for this course. That’s all for now…Till we meet again…See ya!  (^_^)

Hi everyone! I believe that most of us have our own teaching philosophy. Today, I would like to share mine.
My teaching philosophy:
·    I began to focus on communicating my own enthusiasm to my students, so that even if they did not absorb every detail I presented during class, they would be interested enough to work with me on finding the best learning process.
·    I should practice professionalism such as showing good leadership skills for my students. In my opinion, being an authoritarian will only create a distance between a teacher and a student. As a teacher, I should be able to attend to my students’ personal and academic needs whenever needed. In addition, I will try to create a comfortable learning environment based on respect instead of fear.
·    I want to be more resourceful so that I will be able to achieve self-satisfaction and success in teaching. As a teacher, I am open to new ideas and suggestions therefore I would like to be more involved in educational activities, attend educational talks and participate in forums or conferences to further expand my knowledge. Moreover, being up-to-date with the latest information, keeping in touch with global issues and getting my hands on the latest technology are some of the ways for me to improve myself.
·    Last but not least, my students should be encouraged to explore every opportunity to utilise the authentic resources around their environment. I will try to make my lessons more relevant and appropriate to my students so that they can relate whatever they learn in the classroom with the ‘real’ environment outside of the academic setting.

    CovaLent b0nD~~~

Hi everyone...today we are going to see how covalent bond was formed.I've uploaded a video about the formation of single, double and triple bond in covalent bond.

Covalent bonds are formed by atoms sharing electrons to form molecules. This type of bond usually formed between two non-metallic elements. One single covalent bond is a sharing of 1 pair of electrons, two pairs of shared electrons between the same two atoms gives a double bond and it is possible for two atoms to share 3 pairs of electrons and give a triple bond. Let's enjoy the video~~~
